Eric Michael Summerer

2009 Audie Nominee

Eric Michael Summerer

"The first VO workshop I ever attended was with Stew. He was one of the first to say that I had a shot at doing well in this business, giving me that push I needed to put my demo together and actually start treating my voiceover career as more than just a pipe dream. I trust his opinion, and I'm always seeking his advice on the latest trends in the industry."

Eric Michael Summerer is a voice actor and producer whose voice has been heard in countless commercials and instructional recordings. A graduate of Syracuse University, studying TV, Radio, Film and Theater, Eric has served as narrator for over two dozen audiobooks, including Ken Kesey’s Sometimes a Great Notion, Arthur C. Clarke’s Childhood’s End (2009 Audie Nominee) and Kurt Vonnegut’s God Bless You, Mr. Rosewater. Interactive media credits include Mytran Wars, King of Fighters 2006, and Metal Slug 3D. Eric is also the author of a series of classical music books for children. Visit Eric's web site is; EMS Voice Overs.

Chris Gay

The Passion of the Chris

Chris Gay

"In addition to helping me polish my technique and create a great demo, Stew also provided me with valuable insight into the business end of voiceover/broadcasting. It's an industry that is so often directionless to newcomers if you don't know where you're supposed to be going. That was just as important a lesson, if not even moreso, than the demo itself . Stew really took the time to make sure I had as much as I needed to get started, and beyond. His three decades of experience were evidient in every dealing I've ever had with him. Teaching is not just a job for him, it means something to him to help others succeed. What I got from Stew is much more than I ever thought, or rightfully expected."

Chris Gay is a voice actor, sports broadcaster and author of a thought provoking comedy book called Shouldn't Ice Cold Beer be Frozen? Chris' web site is; The Passion of the Chris.

"Hi Stew, I just wanted to tell you that your class is one of the best classes I've ever attended. It was extremely organized, informative and educational. I've taken many classes and most seem to be lacking in all these areas. The amount of information you have provided us in 6 short weeks is wonderful. Thank you for putting the effort into designing a top-notch class."

Zoe Lynn is a Connecticut based theater actress, dancer, lounge and show tune singer with a "day job".
