The voices that you hear behind TV commercials and movie trailers belong to real people who make good money
doing what they do. Learn about the many opportunities that exist in the world of voice-overs and how you can
become part of that world. Commercials, industrial films, narrations, characters and animation are just a few
of the possibilities waiting for good voice-over artists. Students in this course will learn what producers are
looking for, where the auditions are, the pros and cons of having an agent, and much more. Turn your natural
speaking voice into a fun and lucrative career. The final class meets at radio station 106.9 WCCC,
1039 Asylum Ave, Hartford.
Instructor: Stew "Beef Stew" Crossen
is a voice over and broadcast professional with more than
30 years experience, including work as a news anchor, rock
DJ, program director, music director, commercial and voice-over
producer for a variety of clients and radio stations. Stew
is an award winning television producer and recently received
a 2008 KBA award for radio. Stew is the owner of the Voice
Over Workshop LLC.
